The system detects rings with different diameters on a conveyor belt and transmits their position to a robot controller.
The system structure consists of a PC-based system with HALCON from MVtec, a monochrome camera, transmitted light illumination under the conveyor belt and an entocentric lens. The working distances and fields of view are tailored to the task and can be adjusted for similar applications.
